FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What type of material are these power pedestals made from?
All of our power pedestals are made from 304 14 gauge stainless steel and have a 7 gauge 304 stainless steel welded base plate. They are then either painted with a powder coat or polished to a brushed finish.
What is the max. amp rating for this model?
This model is rated up to 60 amp.
Can this model be divided for power and data?
Yes, this model may be ordered with a divider for high/low voltage.
Can you customize this pedestal for me?
Per our UL listing, some modifications are allowed. Please call us with questions.
Where are the pedestals manufactured and sold?
All of our power pedestals are manufactured in and sold from just outside of Chicago, IL.
If I order a polished/brushed finish, why do I have to sign the tea stain waiver?
Since PEDOC has no control over where the pedestals are installed, we require the waiver to be signed and returned with PO submission. They are not suited to be installed near salt water since 304 stainless steel is not marine grade.
Can the pedestals accommodate circuit breakers?
No, not at this time, per our UL Listing.
Are receptacles or covers included or supplied?
No, please refer to your preferred supply house. Any standard GFCI receptacle will align with our tapped mounting holes.
Installation
What size concrete base is recommended?
The diameter of the pedestal base is 8” and the mounting pad should be determined by designer/installer. Please contact your building inspector for any city requirements.
